As we move further into the green growing edges of so much Beauty in the world I particularly celebrate the awesome Courage it takes to make any move forward into new territory. I celebrate Mother Nature's spectacular beauty as just one expression of so much change happening right now. I celebrate the rain we are having that is so needed to promote the growth that is happening all over Mother Nature's land. I'm so very grateful it is warm enough to be out and about in the midst of all the blooming flowers and trees and bushes. It's so invigorating to be outside and to be active.

I also want to acknowledge several people and several commemorations that mean so very much to me: In January we celebrated Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s accomplishments and legacy. We also recently celebrated Black History Month and Women's many, many accomplishments throughout the story of our human existence. These people and events are important to me in this particular time because it is so needed to acknowledge their Courage and their Brilliance as we move forward doing our best to love, honor and understand ourselves and each other. I am never complacent about the Courage it takes to move beyond the status quo and live an honorable life different than what many insist is the one and only way to be someone or do something!

I am so very grateful for the many, many blessings I receive daily big and small. I am so very mindful of the 4.3 billion people who have never even seen much less owned so many of the seemingly simple things many of us may take for granted if we are not paying attention to how fabulously wealthy we are compared to so many people who have next to nothing. I'm always amazed at the smiling faces I see in some of the most impoverished places on Earth. It's certainly a triumph of the human Spirit that anyone can smile in adverse conditions. I know challenges are a blessing in many ways and they are also a call to action to help ourselves and each other move up to the next level. I have said so many times how important it is to never take for granted the seemingly small blessing of any act of kindness. Any act of kindness is a huge blessing to everyone!!! That Energy of Kindness permeates the entirety of the Universe every moment It is expressed. That Kindness is our God Self in expression. It is transformative!!!

As I'm writing this I just remembered the many new revelations I've seen recently about Amelia Earhart and how long she lived in utterly miserable conditions after her plane crashed. It's amazing to consider that she didn't immediately die and that she lived virtually alone on a deserted island. I don't remember how long it is estimated that she lived in those conditions but even one day is utterly amazing to me after surviving a plane crash on an island. I celebrate her amazing Courage

Another one of my favorite people is Immaculee Ilibagiza, a survivor of the Rwandan genocide and her amazing Courage as she moved through her grief and rage after her entire family was killed, except one brother who was out of the country at the time. She has established a foundation to help the many survivors of this unthinkable tragedy. I am quite certain she is an amazing blessing to all who meet her and to those of us who don't know her and yet admire her amazing Courage and Brilliance. I've seen her picture and her Beauty and Strength shine through unmistakably!!!

As I continue to move along the green growing edges of my life I am continually amazed by the blessings and opportunities coming my way. I'm teaching a class I absolutely love and I've been presented with another teaching opportunity that I'm sure will be a wonderfully exciting experience because I'll be making new connections. It's so much fun to meet new people who are so interested in growing. I also experienced many blessings today when my battery was dead. Thankfully it was daylight and I was at a friend's business and when I went to the dealership they explained what had happened and there was no charge to me. I experience kindnesses like that so often and as I've said many times before I never take those kindnesses for granted. They are a blessing and I acknowledge that with all my heart. As you move forward on your green growing edges I wish you many blessings of Peace, Grace and Understanding. The sweet blessing is that all these Gifts are already within you and as you open your heart and mind to them they are free to come forward into your life. Happy Spring to you!!!!
